Choose your location first, then the service. Mobile appointments travel to you anywhere in New Castle, Kent or Sussex County. Everything else is at the Dover or Millsboro office.

Delaware caps the notarial act itself at $5.00. Anything above that is a separate travel and convenience fee, and we show you both parts before you commit.

What happens after you book

  2. 2We confirm itWe check the slot against the day and come back to you to lock it in. If the time does not work we offer the nearest one that does.
  3. 3We agree the feePricing depends on the service, the number of signatures and travel. Appointments outside office hours carry a set after-hours surcharge, listed below. We confirm the full figure with you before the appointment, never after.
  4. 4We meetAt the Dover office, or we come to you anywhere in the three counties.

The surcharge applies to in-person work only: a mobile visit we travel to, or opening the Dover office outside its normal hours. Apostille service is never subject to it.

What to have ready

  • Photo ID for every signer. Government issued, unexpired, and matching the name on the document.
  • The document, still unsigned. A notary has to watch you sign. If it is already signed we usually cannot notarize it.
  • Everyone who needs to sign. All signers have to be present at the same appointment.
  • Any witnesses your document requires. Some documents need witnesses who are not the notary. Check the document before the day, and tell us if you need us to arrange them.
